TheMichelin Guide unveileditsfirst global selection of hotelson Wednesday evening (the 8th). Last year, the guide began selecting the highest-rated hotels in specific countries, such as Italy, France, and the United States, but now, after evaluating more than 7,000 hotels, it has awarded stars to properties around the world, including inBrazil.
In South America,Brazil was the country with the most hotels recognized by the guide, with 20 of them receiving one to three keys. One key refers to “a very special stay”; two keys indicate “an exceptional stay”; and three keys, the highest distinction, signify an “extraordinary stay.”
